How to play Photo Finish

  1. Make a room. Type your name, tap Create a room and send the five-character code (or the link) to your friends. Phones and laptops can share a room.
  2. A picture starts as blocks of colour and sharpens smoothly until it is clear.
  3. Type what it is, any time. Get it at the start for 10 points, down to 2 once it is clear. The first to get it scores 2 more.
  4. Spellings people use count (bhindi or bhendi, golgappa or puchka), and so do small slips. A near miss is told only to you.
  5. Half way through you are told how many letters it has. Every picture is free to use and its maker is named when it is shown.
