How to play Code Words

1. Make a room. Type your name, tap Create a room and send the five-character code (or the link) to your friends. Phones and laptops can share a room.
2. Players split into Red and Blue, and each team picks a spymaster. The spymasters see which of the 25 words belong to which team.
3. On their turn a spymaster gives a one-word clue and a number: how many words it points to (∞ means as many as you like). The clue cannot be a word on the board, one half of a word made of two (Sun for Sunflower), or the same word in Hindi or English (Mandir for Temple).
4. The spymaster has the turn timer to give the clue, then the team gets the same time again to guess.
5. Teammates tap words to reveal them. A right guess lets them keep going (up to the number plus one). A neutral word or the other team's word ends the turn.
6. First team to find all its agents wins. Reveal a black card (the assassin) and your team loses at once. The host can add up to 4 black cards for a riskier board.

The host can change these in the room before starting. The default is marked.
